Cookie policy
The complete list of what this site writes to your device. It is short.
This site uses no cookies
On visitors' devices this site sets no cookies at all: not technical, not analytical, not for profiling. It uses your browser's local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) to remember a few preferences instead. That is a different technology from cookies, but the law treats it the same way — which is why it is fully documented below.
The practical difference: these values stay on your device and are not sent to any server with every request, as cookies are.
What gets stored on your device
| Name | What it does | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| numbfede.consent | Remembers your choice in the banner so you are not asked on every visit | Until you clear your browser data | Necessary |
| numbfede.locale | Remembers the language you picked (Italian or English) | Until you clear your browser data | Preferences |
| numbfede.theme | Remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme | Until you clear your browser data | Preferences |
| numbfede.accent | Remembers the accent colour set from the site's terminal | Until you clear your browser data | Preferences |
| numbfede.locale-suggestion.dismissed | Remembers that you dismissed the language suggestion | Until you clear your browser data | Preferences |
| numbfede.preloader.shown | Avoids replaying the intro animation within the same session | Until you close the tab | Preferences |
No consent is required for these: they deliver a service you explicitly asked for (remembering your preferences) and they cannot identify you or follow you across other sites.
Visit statistics
If — and only if — you choose “Accept all”, the site loads Vercel Web Analytics. It is a cookieless tool: it writes nothing to your device and builds no persistent identifier. It collects aggregate data such as the page viewed, the referrer, the country and the device type.
If you choose “Essential only”, or leave without choosing, the script is not loaded at all: it is not disabled after loading — it never reaches your browser.
Changing your mind
- You can review your choice at any time from the “Cookies” button in the footer of every page.
- You can erase everything the site has stored by clearing the site data in your browser settings.
- You can block this kind of storage upfront in your browser settings: the site will keep working, but it will not remember your language, theme or banner choice.
Third-party services
The Clash Display and Satoshi typefaces are loaded from Fontshare's CDN: that provider sets no cookies, but inevitably receives your IP address, as happens with any resource loaded from an external domain. The site's other typefaces are served from our own domain and involve no third-party requests.
The calendar for booking a video call is provided by Cal.com and is loaded only when you click “Book a call”: if you never open it, the site never contacts Cal.com. Once opened, Cal.com may use its own technical cookies, needed for the calendar to work, under its cookie policy.
The private /admin area, accessible only to the site owner, uses two technical session cookies (admin_session and admin_csrf) needed for authentication and protection against forged requests. They are never set for ordinary site visitors.
